How long does installation take?
- One room (single split): 1 to 2 weeks from accepting the quote, with 1 to 2 days on site
- Small office (multi-split): 3 to 5 weeks
- Medium building (5 to 15 indoor units): 6 to 8 weeks
- Large fit-out (20+ indoor units): 8 to 14 weeks
Most of the waiting time is equipment delivery. Work on site can be planned out of hours so your business keeps trading.
The six steps of a commercial air conditioning installation
- Site survey — An engineer measures your space, windows, people and equipment to work out exactly how much cooling and heating you need. Getting this right stops the system being too weak on hot days or wasting energy.
- Design — We choose the right type of system: a single unit for one room, a multi-split for a few rooms, or a VRV/VRF system for larger buildings.
- Choosing the indoor units — Wall-mounted units are quickest and cheapest. Ceiling cassettes suit open-plan offices and shops. Ducted units are hidden in the ceiling and are the quietest option.
- Installation — Engineers fit the indoor and outdoor units, pipework, power and drainage, and pressure test everything for leaks.
- Commissioning — The system is switched on, tested and set up so it runs efficiently.
- Handover — We show your team how to use the controls and give you the paperwork you need for compliance and warranty.
